Short bio
Reginald Chapman is a Brooklyn-based trombonist, composer, arranger, educator, and bandleader whose work treats low brass as both foundation and frontier. His flagship project, Chaphouse, brings together adventurous New York musicians for music rooted in jazz and animated by hip-hop, soul, electronic texture, and collective improvisation. The result is groove-forward, cinematic, and built around the living conversation of an ensemble.
